Ms Booth's Grade 4/5 Class
Dear Families,
Well, I certainly wasn’t expecting to be off sick last week! It seems the cold that had been making its way around our classroom finally caught up with me. I’m happy to be back and very much looking forward to spending these final two weeks of school with your children.
I heard that Sports Day was a big success! A special thank you to Mrs. Bains for sharing some wonderful photos—it was great to see all the smiles and activity.
Here’s what we have coming up this week:
Monday – Day of Play and Ms Whites last day of teaching this year.
Students are invited to bring in items to enjoy a creative and fun play day. This can include board games, crafts, sports equipment, or toys they’d like to share. Please note that there will be no electronic devices during this time—we’re focusing on hands-on, imaginative play.
It will be Ms White's last day of teaching this year. We have been very lucky to have her join us this year. She is on her way to England to teach abroad for 1-2 years. I know we will all miss her greatly. Good Luck.
Friday – Outdoor Pool & Park Trip
Our class will be heading to George Greenaway Outdoor Pool and Park at 11:30 a.m., returning by the end of the school day. To help your child be prepared, please pack:
With the nice weather expected this week, please ensure your child comes to school each day with a full water bottle to stay hydrated.
Over the next several days, I will also begin sending home some school supplies so that students don’t come home with everything all at once.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. It’s hard to believe we’re so close to the end of the school year!
Warmly,
Ms Booth

Please make sure your child has a rain coat each day and a change of pants and socks in their backpacks. Staying inside is not an option if the Principal has deemed it an outside day.
